Plain-language terms for stays, functions and catering.

Bookings and payment

A booking is confirmed once we’ve agreed the dates and price and received the advance, by bank transfer or payment link. The balance is due at check-in, or before a function begins, unless we’ve agreed otherwise. Bookings made on MakeMyTrip or other sites follow that site’s terms.

Cancellations

Wedding and party booking deposits are non-refundable. For direct room bookings, please give at least one day’s notice of cancellation. We’ll confirm the applicable refund terms in writing before payment; any refund is returned to the person who paid. Bookings made through another website follow the terms shown with that booking.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 12 noon. Complimentary early check-in is available on request, subject to room availability. Early checkout can also be arranged.

Staying with us

The person booking must be 18 or over, and every adult guest must show a valid government ID at check-in. No smoking indoors. Please look after the house as you would your own. Damage beyond normal wear may be charged.

Functions

Final guest numbers and the schedule should reach us by the date we agree when you book. Outside caterers and decorators are welcome by prior arrangement. Extra services, equipment or hours may cost extra; we’ll always agree this with you first.

Catering

Quotes are per plate, based on the agreed menu, counters and minimum guest count. Final numbers are needed by the date we agree when you book.

Belongings

Please keep valuables safe. We can’t be responsible for loss of personal belongings unless it’s caused by our negligence.
